The tour
program:
1st day - transportation from Irkutsk to the Arshan resort
(210 km). A hike into the Tunkinskiye Gol'tsy mounts (6 km). Visiting
the well-known mineral water sources. A good path ascends the
hill up along the Kyngarga river to the highest peaks. On the
way you may explore the "sacred waterfall", a spot, especially
honored by the local Buryats. A night in a tent camp
2nd and
3d days - walks around the picturesque environs, easy climbing
the mountains from where a dazzling panorama of the Sayany mounts
open up at dozens of kilometers. A night in a tent camp, cooking
on a fire
4th day - Returning to Arshan. Transportation from Arshan to Zhemchu (40km). Washing in thermal water source (t +37 C). Transportation from Zhemchug to Irkutsk (195 km).
